
Jennifer J. Maxwell
President/CEO
In March of 2006 Jennifer J. Maxwell joined the Police Athletic League of St. Petersburg, Inc. as President/CEO where she works to raise its image in the community by focusing on public relations, fundraising, participant education, operations and human resources. As chief executive, Jennifer also functions as Program Director for the new South County Truancy Interdiction Center, a collaborative effort between the Juvenile Welfare Board, St. Petersburg Police Department, Family Resources, Inc. and Pinellas County Schools.
Jennifer’s educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Central Florida and master’s degree in Education from the University of South Florida. Following graduate school Jennifer moved to London, England where she worked at the West London YMCA in the Housing & Accommodations Office as Program Director for asylum seekers and refugees attempting to re-enter the workforce. Upon returning to the States, Jennifer continued her career as a teacher of students with disabilities. Her extensive education and experience in management have made Jennifer a qualified and effective administrator for PALSP.
